Point Of View

I sat on a couch. He was sitting across the room in an office chair.

He held up a pad of paper.

He asked me to tell him what I see.
I said it was a pad of paper.
He asked me to describe it.
I said it was yellow, lined, had lining at the top.
Simple enough.

He then went on to describe to me what he saw-
brown cardboard.

Both observations were correct and true.
